KRALLICE S/T 180G REPRESS PRE-ORDERS, THOU TOUR DATES, NEW DISTRO STUFF, LAMBGOAT FEST FEATURE, RANDOM SLEEPY THOUGHTS

Life has felt like a never-ending game of catch-up ever since the Fest ended over a month ago. From label work, to real work, to Dead Weight stuff, and back again. I finally had time to iron out the Krallice s/t 2LP repress on 180g vinyl, and finally have Mutilation Rites Empyrean vinyl underway after many delays on my end of things. And, of course, still a never ending flow of new distro stuff coming through. Let's get to it!

I. KRALLICE S/T 2LP, 180G REPRESS
II. NEW DISTRO ITEMS
III. LAMBGOAT FEATURE ON GILEAD FEST
IV. THOU EURO TOUR DATES - UNDERWAY NOW

I. KRALLICE S/T 2LP, 180G REPRESS
I cannot even recall how long this record has been out of print. It's been at least a year, maybe coming up on a year and a half now. Many folks have been asking about this repress so I'm glad to finally offer it up. This is the first time Krallice has been available on 180g vinyl, and they're all on black - no color vinyl. These are finishing up at the plant now and should be here by the end of June. Any orders placed containing this repress will be held until they arrive. Get to it, only 500 of this repress. Doubt we will do any more! http://www.gileadmedia.net/store

III. LAMBGOAT FEATURE ON GILEAD FEST

One of my oldest friends, Chris Dorsey, took the time to write up a very thorough account of the Gilead Music Fest for Lambgoat. Head on over there to check it out.

I have also updated my catch-all blog post with this report, where I'm collecting Fest reviews, accounts, and photo album links. To view past links to other accounts check out the blog post:

Also, forgot to mention in the intro (and I'm too lazy to re-write it at the moment) that this past weekend I had the pleasure of spending four days in Philadelphia. John and I were there promoting Dead Weight at Wizard World Philly/Philly Comic Con. It was my first trip to this fine city, and I must admit that I was entirely won over by the city's charm and the folks I met. Not to mention some unbelievable vegan food (Hip City Veg!!!) and amazing architecture (see below). I must extend an immense amount of gratitude to Mr. James and Ms. Kira. Our booth at the Con was next to Jim's (look at his art, now - http://jamesboyle-art.tumblr.com/ ), and boy are we glad. We spent Friday and Saturday night hanging out with the two of 'em, and couldn't have come across two better people to spend our time with. I don't do bars, I just don't. And I spent a good three hours hanging out at Tattooed Mom on South street, walking back to the hotel at 1:30 AM. That's not something I do, so believe me when I say I must've been in love with the city at that point.

I became obsessed with this building.
It sat at the end of Cuthbert st, along 17th.
Reminds me of a certain tower I know of.

Couldn't stop taking pictures of this place.

On the seventeen hour drive to Philadelphia we stopped in Monroevilly, just outside Pittsburgh, to meet up with Brain Krasman from Meat Mead Metal. That ruled, it was great to finally meet this person I've been emailing with since 2008. Brian's been a great supporter of the label ever since he first heard Thou's Tyrant. Although our meeting was brief, I was very happy about it. After that John and I shot over to the Monroeville mall, where a great deal of Romero's Dawn Of The Dead was filmed. A security guard was kind enough to give us our own little guided tour. Very awesome to walk down these hallways I've seen on the screen filled with zombies.

is featured in the film.

That's all for this week. I've been in front of the computer too long as it is. Order up some records, click on links in this email. You'll be glad you did.

  1. Glad you had fun at Tattooed Mom's. I had a bit too much fun there and took a tumble down the steps that go to the second floor of the place.
